”hellopuppy" was created many years ago by Sandringham local, Barry Purcell to offer the owners of Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula a new approach to puppy and dog training.
Unfortunately, I found that Group Training often did not provide owners with the opportunity to learn all the key aspects to puppy and dog training which private training does. Personalised attention also allowed my clients and their dogs specific needs to be addressed while their learning was maximised and a much stronger relationship was created. The focus has always been on getting results which is clearly the most important aspect of training your puppy and dog.

Owning a dog is without doubt an amazing and very rewarding experience, however it is also an important responsibility. Therefore, because I teach and train with a strong emphasis on using the “correct" communication, my clients will gain a much greater understanding of how effective their communication can be, which is the key to successful obedience. More importantly, they also gain the confidence to address most situations.
My approach involves my clients being totally involved in the training process ensuring that they fully understand what they are doing. Being "hands on", I also find that my clients end up learning much more than they thought possible while the relationship with their puppy or dog is taken to a level they never thought possible.

As a Qualified Dog Trainer / Behaviourist / Myofunctional Therapist, I also take a holistic approach to your dog's welfare to ensure they live the best life possible. I regularly do research and attend training courses/seminars to expand my knowledge and to ensure my methods are both effective and up-to-date. This also ensures that your dog's safety, health and wellbeing is always our "number 1" priority.
